Darrin Ervin Krueger was born on the 27th of November 1970, the youngest of four children and passed away on the 14th of May 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Darrin was especially close to his father, Wilbert, with whom he both leaned on and was leaned on following the death of his mother Alice in 2002. Being the baby of the family had its definite disadvantages, Darrin was often awarded the smallest bedroom in the house but the advantages far outweighed these, Darrin was loved and cared for his entire life by his siblings and was often the peacemaker during many sibling rivalries. As the siblings grew up the common bond for all remained “Baby Brother Darrin” Darrin, born in Gardenia, California, lived most of his life in and around Austin, TX and was a big Texas Longhorns Fan. Darrin’s enthusiasm for sports was contagious and he looked forward to the weekends that he could sit back and root for his favorite teams. Darrin was a true outdoorsman working various jobs in construction and landscaping but his true love was fishing. Darrin was an avid fisherman and his happiest days were spent floating down the river competing against his father and brother for the day’s biggest catch. Darrin was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, father, Wilbert Krueger of Del Valle TX; sisters, Barbara Krueger of Del Valle TX, Anita Harbourt and husband, Ted of Austin TX; brother, Steve Krueger and wife, Deanna of Del Valle TX; nephews, William Harbourt, Spencer Mason, Jonathan Mason, Craig Mason and niece, Bethany White as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
