David D. Dean

David Downing Dean, age 74, lived a full life; he was ushered into heaven on Palm Sunday, April 14th, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 11, 1944 to Glen Dean of Kirksville, Missouri and Betty Jo Dean of Austin, Texas. He was a business owner of Hi-Tech Applications and President of the South Austin Hot Rodders Associaton Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Scott Dean.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharla M. Dean; daughters: DeeAnn White and Debbie Farmer and her husband, Kevin Farmer. Grandchildren: Devin White, Bailey Farmer, and Dylan Farmer of Austin, Texas.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19th at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 20th in the chapel of Cook-Walden Forest Oaks. Interment will follow at Forest Oaks.
