David Andrew Milton was born September 13, 1967 in Dallas, Texas to John and “Sissy” Milton. He was raised in Amarillo, Texas and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1986. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. Later, he earned a Master’s degree from Baylor University in Central American Studies. He worked for many years for Texas Health and Human Services in the disability department, helping disabled Texans secure social security benefits.
Dave is survived by his son, Levi, who was the joy of his life. He is also survived by two sisters, Suzanne and Sally, and one brother, Scott. He will be missed by many friends in Austin and Amarillo.
As per his wishes, a service will be held August 2 at his favorite place in Texas, Barton Springs.
