
To the Montgomery Family,  It is difficult to tell you how deeply I feel about Dave's death.  What started many years ago as a business relationship, quickly became a warm friendship. It was an honor and privilege to have known him, and I will never forget his wisdom of cranes, compassion for life and infectious laughter. I remember spending the night with D'Ann as children and being able to hear Mr. Montgomery's laugh through out the house.  It would always make us laugh.  That is the memory that will stay with me.

I will alway treasure the memory of Dave. When I was a struggling young kid, Dave provided we with countless amounts of advice. When I first met Dave, I wanted to be just like him. He had a cool job, great family, nice home and lots of friends. I will truly miss Dave. To his family, I know how tough these times are for you and I am deeply sorry for your loss. I will celebrate his life and memory because I know that is what he would want me to do.



Hello,  I met you and Judy about 30 years ago when you lived in Las Colinas in Irving. However, I especially remember David Jr, as my son, Ronnie Martin used to be good friends with him and Ronnie was quite fond of Judy and Dave.  Our thoughts are with all the family, with D'An also. Wow,time is such a thief. I have known Dave since I was a kid. You guys are like my other family even though we are miles apart now. I ate his food, stayed numerous nights in his house and he tolerated me and for that I am blessed.I am glad to have been a part of all of your lives and I will miss him dearly.And my thoughts and prayers are with you all and I wish I could be there with yall. WHAT A GUY!!! Dave sold me my first excavator in 1994. Worked his tail off getting the deal done. Always enjoyed seeing and visiting with him. Until I met Big Dave, I didn't think it possible for one man to know so many people. He will be missed.

I know Little Dave well and he is a hell of a great guy, which is a reflection of the wisdom, character and guidance given from his parents. Dear Judy and family,  Dave whom I have known for over 25 years was a dear friend and an occasional golfing partner. David and I had many fun and exciteful times. We never ever agreed about politics except for the last presidential race. I disagreed alot with him, but always respected his opinions because there was never a doubt about his sincerity and he always had the knowledge to back it up! Dave loved his family so much and was very proud of all of them. Dave, Judy, Diane and I shared many a drink and many more laughs together over the years.
