David was a retired maintenance tech, commercial painter who loved his work. He was a humble Christian who loved the Lord. David also loved nature and animals.
David is preceded in death by his father, David Serrato; his granddaughter, Laleina Serrato; and numerous other family members. He is survived by his wife, Solie Serrato of Pflugerville, TX; sons, John Albert and wife Tina of Austin, TX; David Joe (DJ) and fiancé Rebecca Barrera of Pflugerville; and Joshua Adam of Pflugerville; grandchildren, Brett Sandoval, Desiree Serrato, Tori Serrato, Tasia Serrato, Christian Serrato, Dorian Serrato, Jaden Serrato and Desmond Serrato; and great granddaughters, Sophia Sandoval and Amelie Sandoval.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Rd., Austin, Texas 78750.
