

David Lee Williams, Sr., was born on February 2, 1966, in Austin, Texas, to the late Eloise Patricia Norwood Williams and Donald Earthman. He was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
David was raised in Christian home where he was taught the Bible at a young age. He was baptized in Bloomington, Texas, by the late Pastor Coleman Joshlin, Sr.
David was blessed with three children, one which preceded him in death, David L. Williams, Jr. He is survived by two sons, Richard L. Williams and Darius L. Williams; five sisters, Barbara Echols, Patricia Williams, Cynthia Williams, Carolyn Diane Purnell (Edward), and Demetra Higgins (Jon); nieces and nephews, Latricia, Kenneth “Juni’’ (Carmen), Askairi (Tina), Anthea and niece, Dominique, who preceded him in death; five great-nieces and two great-nephews; grandchildren, Ladavien, Danard, Richard, Kesean, Joseph, Joshua, Kaleah, and Kyrie; and extended family, Sarah and two children.
David played football at a young age. He loved to play dominoes, watching sports without any interruptions, and was a major fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
David was a truck driver for Alamo Concrete and Lauren Concrete. He was not able to drive anymore and started working part time at Whataburger and Bill Miller, and love conversating with the young adults about making a good life for themselves. David also loved working on antique cars.
David could and would always talk to strangers in a given moment.
