Dean O'Connell Whitehead

Dean O'Connell Whitehead , age 27, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2016, in Houston Texas. Dean was born on April 5, 1989, in Lafayette, LA. He graduated from Anderson High School in Austin, Texas in 2007, and went on to graduate from Texas State University with a degree in Construction Technology. Dean was currently employed with Barnhart Crane and Rigging in Houston, TX, as a Technical Sales Representative.

Dean was full of life and had many friends. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Dean enjoyed all sports and was very athletic. He had the ability to adapt to any sport he tried with ease. Baseball, football, soccer, golf and water sports were among his favorites. Although Dean's life was cut short, the life he lived was full. He was fortunate enough to have lived overseas, traveled to several countries and enjoyed several once in a lifetime experiences.

Dean is proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bert J. Johnson, paternal grandparents, Ace and Roseann Whitehead, and his Aunt Mary Whitehead. Dean is survived by his parents Tom and Sheryl Whitehead, brother Adam Whitehead, sister Ashley Whitehead, maternal grandmother Joyce Wilbanks and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as extended family members. He will be missed sorely by his family and friends. Dean is resting in peace now and will be able to share eternal life with his grandfather, grandmother and aunt who all perished prior to Dean's birth. Dean will also be greeted by one of his best friends, John Hanson, who passed away 3 years prior to his death. We are comforted in knowing Dean will be in the presence of these special people and our Lord.
