Dena Marie Sinopoli

Dena was born on August 5, 1924 to Guido and Nancy Novelli in Chicago Heights, Illinois. She married Joseph A. Sinopoli on June 2, 1946. Dena graduated from Bloom Township High School and went on to professional secretarial school. She was an executive secretary for Monroe-Litton Industries for twenty-five years. Dena was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Parish in Chicago Heights, where she served on the school parent organization. She and her husband moved to Texas in 1987. She was a member of Emmaus Catholic Church, Lakeway, Texas and Queen of Angels Chapel in Spicewood, Texas.

Dena is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Stephen) Goetter, Decatur, Illinois, daughter-in-law Katie (Jim) Sinopoli, Spicewood, Texas, grandchildren, Michael (Katie) Goetter, Muskego, Wisconsin, Scott (Erika) Goetter, Nashville, Tennessee. Andrew (Kate) Goetter, Chicago, Illinois, Jenna (Shelly) Sinopoli, Austin, Texas, Tina (Andrew) Kamel, Dripping Springs, Texas, Nickolas Sinopoli, Madison Wisconsin; great-grandchildren, Alex and Emilia Goetter, Kane and Jack Kamel, Jettsen and Hayes Sinopoli and many nieces and nephews.

Dena was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, son, James, her parents and siblings, Dominic, Joseph and Jenny.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Brookdale Lakeway for the kind, loving care that was provided during her residency.

There will be a private family interment at Emmaus Catholic Church.
