

Dennis James Fassetta of Austin, Texas died January 7, 2022, after an accidental fall. He was born December 29, 1954, to Jack and Mary Agnes Fassetta of Hitchcock, TX. He grew up in Hitchcock and attended parochial schools in Galveston graduating from O’Connell High School in 1973. Dennis graduated from the University of Houston in 1977 and was hired by Texas Instruments in Austin, TX. After marrying Janice Bennett of Galveston, they made their home in Austin. After many years Dennis was hired by BCM for their Austin office. They were headquartered in Irvine, CA and in 1996 moved his family to Trabuco Canyon, CA. Later, Dennis was hired by Ingram Micro Logistics in Irvine, CA where he worked until his death. He enjoyed working with his colleagues and customers alike for over 20 years. Dennis and his family moved back to Austin in 2003 to be close to family and friends though they made many dear friends in California.
To cherish his memory are his wife, Janice, daughter Lane Jacobsen, husband Alex and grandsons Milo and Jack of Austin, TX, son Ben Fassetta, grandsons Charlie, James and granddaughter Lucy of Austin, TX, son John Fassetta, wife Brittney of Austin, TX and grandson David of Lebanon, OH, son Luke Fassetta, wife Teresa of Austin, TX, brother Jack Fassetta of Hitchcock, TX and sister Pat Regini of Leadville, CO.
Dennis is a follower of Jesus Christ and lived a life of devotion and service to his Lord and Savior. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, talking about cars and being with family and friends. Looking forward to the day we will be reunited!
