Carla and family,
I just wanted to say how very sorry I am for your loss. I know that from your messages posted about him you loved your brother very much. Those memories are the things that heal us and help us through the days ahead. Jesus will walk you through this and I know you trust Him to do so.
I look at his picture and see the man you love. He has your smile and you two look so very much alike!!
My prayers are with you and may you know the peace that only He can give.

My love to you,
Sharon Dooley

I knew El Rayo from meeting up at concerts in Vancouver, Memphis and Louisville and thru various on-line communications.
I am fuller for having him in my life, even though our "live"connections were limited.
I won't cry for him today. Instead I'll remember him fondly and smile, grateful for having known him.

My condolences to his family and friends

My condolences to those in Don's family, and those of us who knew him as "El Rayo-X", fellow Raindog fan of Tom Waits. I met Don a couple times after Tom Wait's concerts, and corresponded with him now and then. Enjoyed his company and comments - a gentleman, yet one with a sense of humor that was distinctively his. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend his memorial service, though I will play some Tom Wait's music in his honor.
