Don, a resident of Point Venture, TX, was born on February 21, 1941 in Kentucky. He spent his formative years in Detroit, MI, before moving to California and then Texas in 2003.
Throughout his life, Don proudly served his country and community. He served as a member of the U.S. Army and the Detroit Police Department, and was elected to the Point Venture Village Council.
He enjoyed the Texas Longhorns and loved animals. He was a proud and loved father, grandfather and friend.
Don is survived by son and daughter-in-law Kenny & Cheyenne Conyer; son and daughter-in-law Michael Conyer & Tawna Conyer Boucher, and granddaughter Deco; and ex-wife and friend, Helen Conyer.
Don will be laid to rest at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery.
