

She was born to Vernon and Pearl Jacobs on November 23, 1927, in Independence. Donna traveled to Austin and rented an apartment above Brown's Flower Shop in the Hyde Park neighborhood, where she met the love of her life, General Jackson Brown. They were married on January 29, 1954.
Donna and Jack had two children, Jack Vernon and Terri Paul. They raised their family in Austin while owning and operating the family business, Brown's Flower Shop. Donna served as the shop's bookkeeper and designed many floral arrangements for customers.
Donna loved her family and talked about her children and grandchildren to anyone who would listen. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities, traveling, shopping, gardening, and raising flowers. She was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Royals.
Donna is survived by her son, Terri, and his wife, Brenda, of Austin; her grandchildren, Brandy Brown of Bridgeport and Trevor Brown of Perrin; and her four great-grandchildren, Rowen Brown, Taylor Brown, Jackson Brown, and Miles Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackson Brown; her son, Jack Brown; her grandson, Riley Brown; her brothers, Bob Jacobs and Steve "Buddy" Jacobs; and her twin brother, Daryl Jacobs.
