Dorothy P. Cobb

Dorothy P. Cobb "Dot" The angels came and took Dot out of the arms of her husband, Bill, on Sunday morning. Dot was born to Virgil and Johnnie Paull in Three Rivers, Texas where she grew up to be the Drum Majorette of the Three Rivers High School Band. From there she graduated from the University of Texas and in her senior year was voted one of the "Ten Most Beautiful Coeds". Dot and Bill were married on August 19, 1950. She is survived by her husband, Bill, a son William T. Cobb II of San Antonio, daughters Kelly Eklund of San Antonio and Chris Cobb of Spicewood and several grandchildren. After her children were grown and educated she launched a 23 yr career in the construction business for Gerald D. Hines Construction and Development Company of Houston, Texas. There she served as Construction Manager, being one of, if not the first woman to hold that title in Texas. Dot retired in the year 2000 and moved to Lakeway where she enjoyed years of bridge, golf and entertaining. She will be truly missed by her family and families of dear life long friends. A memorial mass will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohman's Crossing, Lakeway, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the charity of your choice.
