Dorothy Mae (Gilbert) Ray

Dorothy went to Olive Street School, Kealing High School and then Anderson High School. In 1953 Dorothy was united in marriage to Charles Allen Ray. She was the mother of seven children.

Dorothy began studying with Jehovah’s Witnesses in the summer of 1963. Dorothy then dedicated her life to Jehovah and symbolized it by Baptism on August 4,1963. Dorothy began Pioneering in 1991, Jehovah and Pioneering was her life!

Dorothy was proceeded in death by both of her parents, her son Charles Ray Jr. (Vernon Carol), and her daughter Claudia Ray Waters. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Charlie Ray, Patricia Ray, Carl Ray (Alice) Willie Ray Sr. and Carlo Ray (Irene), all of Austin, Texas. Dorothy also leaves behind 58 grandkids, 112 great grandkids, and 16 great-great grandkids, as well as a host of friends, and Spiritual brothers and sisters.
