Dorothy Sue Toliver

Dorothy was born July 1, 1947 in Austin, TX. Her parents were Elmer and Maudie Johns. She was one of 7 children. She graduated from Del Valle High School in 1965.

Dorothy is survived by her brothers Tuffy, Elmer and wife Joyce, Jacky and wife Nancy, Franky and wife Vivian, her sister Maudie and her partner Barbara; her kids Kenneth, David and his wife Brenda, Rebecca and her husband Tommy. Grandkids Miranda, David Jr., Charisma, Chelsea, and Christina; her great grandkids Elijah, Vincent, Faith, Noah, Kyleigh, Cooper, and Emery Grace.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Elmer and Maudie Johns, her sister Pearl Eady, and great grandchild Zachary.

Dorothy liked to play spades, dominoes, darts, horseshoes and many more games. She liked to do puzzles, crosswords and gardening. She liked fishing and going to the coast.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Antioch Cemetery, 227 Antioch Rd, Paige, TX 78659.

She will continue her journey in our hearts:

A mother's love, a guiding light,

Now dimmed, but ever bright.

Though gone from sight, her spirit stays,

In cherished memories, always.
