

Dorothy Blanche Williams, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2015, surrounded by her loving family and Pastor Ray and Susan Waugh of Walnut Creek Baptist Church, of which she was a faithful member for 22 years. She was born November 19, 1922 in Elk City, Oklahoma to the late William Elton and Georgia Ann Neighbors. Dorothy retired from Alcoa Aluminum, Point Comfort, in January 1985.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Will Williams; parents, William Elton and Georgia Ann Neighbors; brothers, J.D, Orval and Bob Neighbors; sister, Faira Mae Hoskins; son-in-law, Arthur Hunter; and grandson Randy Hunter.
She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Jo Hunter and Beatrice (Chip) Sneed; son, Raymond (Norma) Williams; and sister, Ann Calvo. Grandchildren; JR, Dan, David, Dina and Laura Hunter; Bradley and Jason Williams; Chip Sneed, Bryan Snook, and Dr. Pam Fawsett. Dorothy is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Our family extends our heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Creek Baptist Church.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 am Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Walnut Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Walnut Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
