Earl Wallace Bissett Jr.

Earl Wallace Bissett Jr. was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on February 3, 1943, to Earl Wallace Bissett and Marvle Duncan. He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his brother, Thomas Bissett, and sister-in-law, Priscilla Bissett, of Leander, Texas.

He was a loving father to three daughters: Tiffany Bissett of Denison, Texas; Michelle Payne and her husband David Payne of Little Elm, Texas; and Elizabeth Wommack and her husband Adam Wommack of Cross Roads, Texas. Earl was also a proud grandfather to five granddaughters and a great-grandfather to four great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. He was a cherished uncle and cousin to many, and his presence will be deeply missed by his extended family.

Earl proudly served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1966, demonstrating honor, dedication, and a deep commitment to his country.

He passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, at Cottonwood Nursing Home. Earl will be remembered for his kind spirit, gentle heart, and the love he shared with everyone around him. His warmth and generosity touched many lives, and his legacy will live on through his family and all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 29 at 10:00 AM at Seaside Memorial Park to honor and celebrate Earl’s life.
