

Earl was born on November 28, 1942, in Bryan College Station, Texas, to Floyd and Marguerite Wiley. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Claudia Wiley, his brother Isaac Floyd Wiley of Leander, daughter Kimberly Ann Stanley of Henderson, Texas, his step-daughters Marla Kay and husband Zane Busch of Liberty Hill and Gina Lynn Glaeser of Burnet, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister Eva Katheryn Schulze, as well as his parents and son Adrian Wiley.
Earl graduated from Denton High School in 1961 and immediately joined the Navy during the Vietnam Era. He served his entire time in the Navy aboard the USS Enterprise as a parachute rigger, and was honorably discharged in July 1965. He returned to Denton, and enrolled in The University of North Texas and graduated in 1972 with a BBA in Business. Earl married Claudia Meaders in 1969, also of Denton, and they moved to Leander, Texas after his graduation to establish a home on 5 acres of land he held there. He went to work for Westinghouse in Georgetown, Texas and then transferred to work for Texas Instruments in Austin, where Claudia also worked, retiring from Tl in 2016. He built their forever home in Leander and lived there with Claudia and step-daughters Marla Kay Busch and Gina Lynn Glaeser for 35 years until both girls entered college and then married, at which time Earl and Claudia sold the country property and built a home in Georgetown, Texas. Many happy memories were created while living in what was then the country in Leander, Texas. They later moved to Cedar Park, where he went to work for Stor Self Storage Company in Cedar Park in 2019. He was working there and currently was living in Sun City Georgetown with Claudia until his passing.
Earl was multi-talented!! He could repair cars and just about anything that needed repair for the family. He proudly displayed in his study a plaque that read "My Dad Can Fix Anything." He was very proud of 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He and Claudia relished time with their family: holidays, birthdays, Easter Egg hunts... anything that brought everyone together. He and Claudia were married for 57 years on May 30 of this year.
He is going to be loved and missed very much by his entire family, especially Claudia, forever.
A Funeral Service will be held on June 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, TX 78750.
