

Edwin (Eddie) Dusek, age 80, has gone to be with the Lord after his long battle with cancer. He was greatly loved by his wife, family and friends and he will forever be missed. He is preceeded in death by his parents John and Angelina Dusek and sister-in-law Louise Dusek. He is survived by his wife, Georgia, of 39 years and son, Steve, and his wife Vicky; three grandchildren Kim Chrudimsky and her husband Mark; Stacey Batch and her husband Eric; and JD Dusek and his fiancee Sheena and two great-grandchildren, Shelby and Maggie Chrudimsky; two step-daughters Diane Reid and her husband Ron; and Debbie Kirk and her husband Gilbert; and three step-grandchildren Christina Tsencik; Garrett and Kamie Kirk. He is also survived by his five brothers Dennis Dusek and his wife Jean; Alfonse Dusek; Stanley Dusek and his wife Eva Mae; Johnny Dusek and his wife Gladys; and Jerome Dusek and his wife Josephine and many nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a lifetime member (33 years) to American Legend Post 83. He was in the printing industry for 50 years and retired from Whitley Printing in March of 2005. After his retirement, he was able to spend more time on what he truly loved to do which was working in his yard. He was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church for many years. He loved his family and friends dearly. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph Tomei, CSC officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
