Elizabeth Donley Dersham

Elizabeth Donley Dersham, of Austin, passed away peacefully May 2, 2004 at the age of 89. She was born May 15, 1914 to parents Helmuth E. Eberhard and Alice Marie Eberhard of Seguin, Texas. Elizabeth graduated from Seguin High School in 1931, graduated from Texas Lutheran College in 1933, attended Rice University and Peabody Institute of Music in Memphis, Tenn. Her love of music, especially the piano and organ, was a joy and comfort to her throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Col. Harry Donley and Ellis Dersham both of Austin, Texas. She is survived by her brother, Col. H. E. Eberhard of Austin; her sons, Peter L. Donley of Nevada, Michael N. Donley and wife Donna of Florida; step-son, Richard Dersham and wife Lynn of Dallas; four granddaughters; one grandson; and four great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas.
