Elizabeth McCord Hamlin, age 55, of Austin, passed away November 9, 2009. Elizabeth was born January 5, 1954 in Austin to W. H. and Mildred O. McCord who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Hamlin and Christopher Hamlin; her sister, Rachel Anne White and husband Tim; and other family and friends. Elizabeth taught bi-lingual kindergarten for AISD for many years. Her true passions in life were here sons, her family, friends and her deep abiding faith in God. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009 followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
