Born September 2, 1968 to Floyd and Helen Cantwell in Austin, Texas, Elizabeth grew up in Leander, Texas, graduated from Leander High School in 1986 before attending Austin Community College and Messenger College in Joplin, Missouri. Elizabeth also attended church for many years at Trinity Tabernacle in Cedar Park and worked in the family business, Cantwell Used Cars & Parts.
Though she was taken from us so suddenly, Elizabeth’s legacy will remain through the many lives she touched. Elizabeth had a contagious personality that uplifted many, her honest laughter lifted the spirits of anyone around to hear, and her generous spirit simply overflowed.
Elizabeth enjoyed her volunteer teaching at Sonshine Christian Academy in Corsicana, Texas, her daily visits with her dad at “the shop”, and an endless stream of crafting projects of just about anything that could be made by human hands, especially if it could be done with her beloved grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Cantwell and is survived by her Father, Floyd Cantwell of Briggs, TX; daughters, Katy Lewis Kelley of Killeen, TX and Marjorie Lewis Weir of Briggs, TX; son Matthew Lewis of Briggs, TX; grandchildren Mia, Sophia, Waylon, and Harley of Killeen, TX; Jackson of Briggs, TX; Kayla, Kevin, and Jazzy of Briggs, TX, and Cody stationed in California; sisters Jennie Cantwell Kendrick of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Martha Faurie Ferguson of Cedar Park, TX; brothers Rusty Faurie of Leander, TX; Harold Faurie of Briggs, TX; Larry Faurie of Bertram, TX; and Lester Faurie of Liberty Hill, TX.

…I thank you for the love you have shown; But now it's time I travel alone
Grieve awhile, if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It's only for a while we must part; So hold the memories within your heart
I won't be far away, for life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near; And if you listen within your heart you'll hear
All my love around you soft and clear; and then when you come this way alone
I'll greet you with a smile and say "Welcome Home."
