Elizabeth H. Summers

Elizabeth H. Summers, 89, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017. She was born in San Marcos, Texas to Oscar G. Raesz, Sr. and Augusta Lantzsch Raesz. Elizabeth was a Life Time Member of The VFW Auxiliary Post 8925 in Austin, Texas. She spent many hours volunteering with the American Red Cross and working in the pharmacy at Bergstrom AFB. She was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two brothers, and three sons, David, Charles, and James W., Jr. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Suzanne Adams; sons, Tom Riordan and John Riordan and wife, Karen; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Mocgxygnba and husband, Archie; brothers, Oscar Raesz, Jr., and wife, Larue and Edward Raesz; numerous nieces, nephews, others relatives, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M., December 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.

Honoring Elizabeth as pallbearers will be Daine Smith, Ronnie Raesz, Donnie Raesz, Gary Raesz, David Raesz, and Charlie Riordan.
