Her family loved to hear the many funny stories she told about her youth and life on the farm in the early 1900s when life was supposed to be simpler. It was a well known fact that she hated farm life and wanted nothing more to do with milking cows and the many chores of farming. Myra is remembered as an amazing individual who took immense pride in being a loving wife and mother to her beloved children not to mention the worlds best grandmother. Myra was mentally alert, did her crossword puzzles daily and was incredibly talented in many crafts including quilting, crocheting and needle work. Myra lived her faith daily and never spoke ill of anyone. She truly walked in Gods shadow and was considered a blessing to her family who loved and cared for her until her death. She was a true blessing from God who will be forever in our hearts we will love you always and miss you more than words can say. In the end Myra left her family a legacy of warm smiles, soft words of comfort, incredible faith, joyous laughter and an unconditional love that will live forever. A memorial service honoring her life will be held March 11th at 1:00 p.m. in the Tarrytown United Methodist Chapel with Pastor Ann Beatty officiating.
