Elsie Lee Dial Stell

Elsie Lee Dial Stell, of Lakeway, Texas, died on March 14, 2007. She was born in Trinity, Texas on December 30, 1915. She graduated from Trinity High School in 1933 and moved to Houston where she took a business course and attended the University of Houston. She worked for an insurance company for several years and with the Federal Land Bank. Elsie married Manson Guy Stell on October 25, 1941. The Stell family moved to Lakeway in 1973 after many years in Brazil and Mexico. Elsie was a member of the Lakeway Church. She was also an active member of the Ladies Golf Association and on the board of the Lakeway Yacht Club. She has resided at the Grace House of Lake Travis for the last 6 ½ years where she was cared for with love and devotion. She is survived by her two daughters: Karen Stell Griffith and Judith Anne Stell, two grandchildren: Robert Manson Leonard and Kristina Lee Harper, and four great¬grandchildren: Gage, Ryann, and Brogan Leonard, and Katie Harper. She was preceded in death by her husband Manson, and her son Manson Guy Stell, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at The Lakeway Church, 2203 Lakeway Blvd., Lakeway, Texas 78734, with Reverend Brent Graham officiating.
