Elyse Ann Sens

ANGEL ON EARTH

A lover of life and service. Before meeting the love of her life, Timothy, Elyse was a "Heart Instructor" for Programs of the Heart, in Austin, Texas. Her passion until the day she passed was to uplift and empower life, to be of service to people. Elyse also worked as a director at an assisted living center in Boulder, Colorado, and served as a volunteer with Hospice. Even in the face of adversity, she had the gift of bringing beauty, lightness, wisdom, and joy. She had tremendous stamina and grit. Elyse was loved and cherished by all who knew her.

"She was so thankful for her years with Timothy and how her life turned out," said her sister, Ann Benson. "Nothing made her smile brighter than being with him. She considered herself the luckiest woman in the world having Timothy by her side."

Elyse is survived by husband Timothy Sens; her adoring children Jennifer, Ryan, and Chloe and her sister Ann. Elyse was a devoted and loving wife, mother and sister and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life for Elyse will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
