I am very sadden to hear of the loss of Eric.  I met Eric and his family when my daughter played softball with Kayla.  I came to learn his deep love for his family and the talent and skill he gave to my daughter.  I am so shocked that his life was cut short.  My prayers go out to his wife and children.

Eric will be missed by all who knew him at Spansion. He was very kind and a likeable person. He always had a smile and a hello for me whenever we saw each other at work. So sorry for your loss.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Eric's family. I worked with Eric at Spansion and knew him well enough to know he loved his family as he spoke of them often. I also know he is at home with the Father in heaven, may you all find comfort in God's loving presence.

Eric will be missed by many people.  Our families spent a lot of time together throughout the past 7 or 8 years.  We had many conversations concerning the girls as softball players and kids in general.  We appreciate the  times we shared.   You will be missed.

Your Dad was a good person.  We see that many people had good things to say about him whether they knew him from high school or from the softball world.  He taught you lessons on and off the field to help you become smart and independent young ladies.  I have no doubt you will both be successful.  I pretty much grew up with Eric at Westlake H.S., and we both played trombone together in the band. I remember racing around Austin in his rebuilt Chevy and working with him at Mr. C's. He was a great guy, and I know he'll be missed. God bless you Eric. You and your family will be in my prayers.

It is with a very heavy heart that I try to express our sorrow and grief at Erics passing. We will all miss him and wish your family and friends all of God's grace and strength in the rough days ahead.

Having coached with Eric for many years and watching our kids grow and learn from little ones to teenagers has been a joy. We were always happy when we could be on the same team and coach together, to have the pleasure of you all being around and sharing your lives with us. The last time we coached together this summer brought back so many good memories from the last 10 years, from tiny teeball girls to young ladies ready to take on the world. That game was as fun as they get. It didn't matter if we won or lost, just that the girls tried their best and had fun doing it. I really think we had more fun than the girls. I will truely miss you on the field, I will miss you in the stands, and I will miss your calm approach to things that blow me up. I have adored your girls since I met them. They are all that a parent could wish for. I know they turned out that way because of their parents. I am so sad because I can't let you know how much I admired and respected you. My friend you will be missed.

Emily and I are so saddened by your loss.  Emily went through alot of coaches during the 8 years she played rec softball at Oak Hill but Eric was always one of her favorites.  He taught her that a good coach did not have to yell at his players in order to motivate them.  Being a single mother, I always tried to find good male role models to expose Emily to, and Eric was one of those. Emily and I both admired him for the husband, father, softball coach and friend that he was.  He always made it a point to say hello to Emily and I both when we crossed paths at tournaments.
