Ervin L. Mueller

Ervin L. Mueller passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the age of 89 years. He was born in La Vernia, Texas, February 12, 1920, to Friedrick "Fritz" Mueller and Alvina Stabenow. Ervin was confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in La Vernia, Texas. He worked as a salesperson for Alamo Iron Works in San Antonio and Austin until his retirement. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Austin, a member of the Perfect Union Lodge #10 of San Antonio, the Scottish Rite, and Hermann Sons. Ervin enjoyed ballroom dancing at the Senior Citizen's of Austin, working in his yard and he was an avid hunter. Ervin traveled and enjoyed his many friends and family. He was married to Juanita Jarvis on March 15, 1968. He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; three brothers, Henry, Helmar and Walter; one sister, Erna. He is survived by his son, Ervin "Buck" Mueller, wife Pat of Llano, TX; two grandchildren, Todd and wife Wendy of Grand Prairie, TX and Amy Rowin and husband Scott of Lago Vista, TX; he was the proud great-grandfather to Riley, Andrew and Katy. He has one surviving sister, Ruby Nell of Tempe, AZ. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Clifford Locke officiating.
