

Ethel Kittredge, 95, went home to be with her heavenly Father on February 22, 2004. She is now reunited with her loving husband, Claude Kittredge and her son, Clarence Kittredge. Ethel was born on March 11, 1908, in May, Texas and moved with her family to the Round Rock/Pflugerville area in a covered wagon. She spent her life in Austin and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist church for 67 years. Ethels strong faith and trust in God sustained her through her life and was an inspiration to her family and to all those with whom she came in contact. She is survived by her son Norman Kittredge and wife Jeanne, daughter Cornelia K. Smith and daughter-in-law Michael Kittredge; grandchildren Sharon L. Smith, Leigh Robinson and husband Eddie, Steven Kittredge and wife Jennifer, Lael Smit and husband Harald, Kevin Kittredge and wife Lori, Kimberly Yandell and husband Randy; great-grandchildren Katie and Karoline Kittredge; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:009:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 26th, at Hillcrest Baptist church, 3838 Steck Avenue with Rev. Charles Draper and Dr. Tom Goodman officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Kittredge, Kevin Kittredge, Harald Smit, Randy Yandell, Robert McCullough, and John Duncan. Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Kent Beasley.
