Parents and five siblings (Kathryn, Albert, Dewey, Stephen, and Robin) preceded Evelyn in death for varied health reasons. Yet, she was blessed surviving sickle-cell blood disease through years of pain and God-willed lifesaving research experiences aware they served others.
Evelyn accepted belief in Trinity: Father/Son/Savior per family upbringing to love and help neighbors.
Determination, mindful trust & home-school learning = graduations through cosmetology college! IRS seasonal work results included tech expertise. Health disability enabled.
Frequent disabling crises warranted IRS Director's authority to retire her.
Freedom from working gave volunteer time to effectively serve the community!
Evelyn is survived by husband Ural Jarmon; siblings Bettye, Arthur (Marsha), John, Sherri; lifelong friend Lily E.; stepsiblings Eloise (Thomas) Rosemary, Cxxx (Rita); cousins & public service activities she chose to represent.
Preceded in death by parents, five siblings and son Carl, Evelyn received and shared compassionate and challenging experiences uncommon to many without her health conditions. She noted "Everybody's got something to live and die with!". Other remarks included "I'm a little piece of leather, but I'm well put together!"
