He joined the U.S. Navy at 17 as a ship steam fitter. At 18, he married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Justin, and embarked on a career in semiconductors. He spent 30 years in the industry before he founded, and was CEO of NC Technologies. He retired after 13 years and settled in Spicewood TX.
A beloved husband, brother, and grandfather, he is survived by his loving wife Joyce; brother Robert; children Buddy and girlfriend Tammy, Wendy and husband William, LeeRoy and wife Terri; grandchildren Jade, Jacob, Chad, Jenny, Wesley, Hailey, Lauren, Glen and Ryder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma and William, and brother, Walter.
Nick is remembered for his intelligence, facilities expertise, building his own homes, refurbishing cars, and helping others.
In keeping with a family tradition, his wishes were to not have a service, but rather, to remember him as he was; someone who always had a joke, loved to hunt, worked hard, and made great friends, who were like family, including Royce, Frank, Brenda, Wayne, Katy, Adam, and many others.
