

Faez Najib Wehbe, was called to heaven on November 9, 2017 at Dell Seton Hospital, Austin Texas, surrounded by his nine children. Faez was born in El Menieh, Lebanon on Janurary 1, 1921. He was the oldest of six children born to Najib and Jamilee Wehbe. He was a prominent business man in Lebanon, where he lived a great portion of his life. His heart and soul brought him to Austin, Texas in 1991, where the majority of his children resided.
Faez prided himself on his beautiful family and the most incredible garden that he worked so diligently on daily. He married his beautiful soulmate Layla Chalhoub at St. Theresa’s Maronite Church in Lebanon on July 15, 1958. Faez will be remembered for his strength, love for his family, and his warm and caring heart.
He is survived by his loving wife Layla, Children: Gloria (Nagi) Hayek, Najib (Roberta) Wehbe, Maguy (Michael) Klayme, Bassam, Norma (Bassam) El Hayek, Katia, Ebtissam (Emile) Monzer Lebanon, Michlene, Mireille (William) Khreiche, many grandchildren, one brother of Australia, Michel (Hana) Wehbe, and one nephew of Austin Tx, Charles (Joelle) Wehbe.
Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, November 9, 2017 at Our Lady’s Maronite Church from 5:00-8:00p.m. with a rosary to start at 7:00p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Our Lady’s Maronite Church at 11:00a.m. at 1320 E. 51st Street, Austin, Texas 78723. Followed by a mercy meal in the church hall. Interment will take place at 3:00p.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery, Georgetown, Texas.
In lieu of flowers and customary remembrances, the family suggests donations be made to Our Lady’s Maronite Church.
