Faye Lounelle Thompson

On July 15, 2007, Lounelle Thompson passed away surrounded by family and friends. Lounelle, born July 22, 1948, was the daughter of Norman B. O’Grady and Ruth C. O’Grady. They raised her in Baytown, Texas where her love for music and singing became evident at an early age. Lounelle’s passion for music and singing carried on throughout her entire life and loved to share her talents with family and friends. Lounelle’s love for life is noticed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her and being a part of her life. Her contagious laughter and presence will be heard and felt always by all of those who loved her. A devoted and beloved mother, Lounelle is survived by her son, Jack Scott; her daughter, Katelyn Christine; and many other close family members and friends including Gayle “Birdie” Marrs, Billie Shadid and Debbie Canales. The Thompson family would also like to Thank all of the hospital staff at St. David’s hospital for all of their help and support for Lounelle and the family during this hard time. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, July 20, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 21 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Lounelle’s life at the family home.
