Feliciano Carrillo Benitez

Feliciano Carrillo Benitez of Austin, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born on August 5th, 1954, in Cutzamala De Pinzon Guerrero, Mexico where he grew up surrounded by the love of his parents, Braulio Benitez and Cecilia Carillo alongside his siblings, where family and community shaped his early years.

He dedicated many years to a career in construction, focusing on underground utilities, and consistently demonstrated both a strong work ethic and pride in his accomplishments. Outside of work, he loved cooking outdoors and gathering with family and friends, where good food, laughter, and time together were always at the center.

He is preceded in death by parents and his brother Alejandro.

He is survived by his loving wife, Isabel Benitez; his children, Feliciano and his former partner Ruby Jaimes, Jose with his wife Vanessa Velez, Anai with her husband Noah Skaggs, and Isabel with her partner Reyvid Catalan; his grandchildren Luis Mora, Adam Mora, Patricia Mora, Alena Benitez, Nadia Benitez, Yazlyn Benitez, Gabriella Gonzales, and Kiela Gonzales; his great-grandchildren, his siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren above all else. His family was the center of his life, and he took great pride in being present for them, offering love, guidance, and unwavering support.

The family would like to thank all those who cared and showed compassion for our loved one in their final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749, US, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A 30-minute Bible-based discourse by Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses will be held at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Service will take place at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749, US, on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 9:00 am. A Graveside Service will follow at 10:00 am on the property at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
