

Flower of all Flowers, Star of all Stars, Light of all Lights, Angel of all Angels, that is our beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend who has passed on December 17th 2014 to be with Jesus, with family and friends at her side. Feliza Rodriguez Lewter was born to Pablo and Maria de Jesus Rodriguez in Mendoza, Texas.
Her greatest joys in life were her family whom she loved deeply, traveling with her brother and sister-in-law anywhere and everywhere, shopping as many stores as she could with her sister and watching her Spanish novelas daily with her daughter. She was a person whom could never find anything wrong to say about anyone, but was always thinking about the best of everyone.
She was a state employee for over 30 years at the Texas Railroad Commission where she met many long term friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother, uncle, niece and brother-in-law.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Lewter; son, Steve Sandoval; daughter, Nancy Tovar (husband, John E Tovar); grandchildren, Yvette Tovar Polanco (husband Eric Polanco), John Eric Tovar, Kristina Tovar; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Caily, Eric Michael and Anthony. Also surviving her was her sister, Janie Baldazo; her brother, Willie Rodriguez (wife, Enemencia Rodriguez); sister-in-law, Henrietta Rodriguez; along with many nieces, nephews and friends, Isidro, Dorothy, Mary and many more.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Isidro Castillo, Willie Rodriguez Jr. Eddie Rodriguez, Abel Rodriguez, Gilbert Salazar, Robert Martinez and Kenneth Thierry.
We would like to thank the many staff members at Texas Oncology who helped our mother get through the many bad days of the 3 years she attended there. Also we would like to thank the staff members at Austin Hospice as well as Christopher House who helped comfort her in her final days. And a Special Thank you to Grande Communications for providing meals during the month of December for the family to eat.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Weed -Corley-Fish, 2620 South Congress. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Saint Mary Cathedral. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
