Frances "Polly" Frazer Moore

Polly was born to Montie and John Frazer on May 9th, 1958 in Danville, Kentucky. She graduated from Danville High School in 1976 and went on to graduate from Vanderbilt University in 1980. On November 14, 1987 she married Wally Moore of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and in 1989 they began their life in Austin, Texas. They created a vibrant and beautiful life in Austin that in so many ways was a continuation of the vibrant and beautiful life they lived in Kentucky.

Polly was passionate, dedicated and joyful in everything she put her hand to, be it personally or professionally. This included her groundbreaking career as a Financial Advisor in which she was a founding member of the women-owned firm AMG Wealth Advisors. Polly was deeply committed to her clients and their success, and counted them as family to her.

This also included her dedication to her church, All Saints’ Episcopal. Polly’s faith was deeply important to her, and an anchoring point in her life that she expressed through the many hats she wore as a lay person in her congregation. At the end of her life, Polly expressed great assurance that Christ had prepared a place for her, and her last days were marked by peace.

The through line of Polly’s life was her love for people. She had a profound ability to convey value, importance and dignity to every person she encountered. It was her greatest joy to host the people she loved, and it didn’t take much for Polly to love you. All were welcome in her world and at her table. She shared with open hands all she had with whoever God placed in her path, be it adult, child, dog, cat or bird.

Perhaps the greatest recipients of this generous love were her grandchildren. Polly, known as Gaga to them, knew that whimsy, magic and fun are all very serious business. She made sure that her family knew beyond any question that she loved them deeply and would do anything to show that love for them. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy expressed through her family.

She is survived by her husband Wally Moore and their two children and their families: Sam Moore, his wife Brigette Moore, and their children Teddy, Maisy and Miles, and Grace (Moore) Hill, her husband Cade Hill, and their children Knox and Shepherd. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Hamp and Mary Lloyd Moore, her brother Ned Frazer, and extended family and friends too long to count.

Services will be held at All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, October 7th at 2pm with a reception to follow.
