Francis Rose Gordon

Francis was born March 8, 1907 near Stamford, Texas in Jones County to parents; Anton and Emilie (Dusek) Lopour. She married William Bernard "W.B." Gordon. They had four sons.

Francis is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Bernard Gordon; two sons, Kenton "Kenny" Wayne Gordon and Lorran Darrell Gordon; one great grandson, Clayton Gordon; five brothers, Anton Bert Lopour, Emil Frank Lopour, William Edward "Willie" Lopour, Edward Joseph "Eddie" Lopour, and Joseph Kreiston "Joe" Lopour; and two sisters, Emilie Antonia "Emma" (Lopour) Head and Anna Vilhemina "Annie" (Lopour) Pitts.

She is survived by her sons, Darwin Bernard Gordon and William Francis "Bill" Gordon and wife, Linda S. Gordon; two grandsons, Joe Gordon and Daniel "Butch" Gordon and wife Koni; granddaughter, Rachel L. Gordon Carter; three great grandsons, Samuel "Sammie" Gordon, Ryan P. Gordon, and James A. Gordon; three great granddaughters, Kristy L. Huff, Melissa J. Gordon, and Celeste Indigo Carter; four great-great grandsons and three great-great granddaughters.

A visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Cook-Walden\Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Snyder Cemetery, Snyder, Texas.
