

He was born on June 26, 1973 in Manhattan, New York to Francisco A. Gobourne and Ana Rosa Fernandez.
After high school he enlisted into the United States Army. He received his Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Lamar University.
In 2005, he initiated his law enforcement career at the Caldwell, Idaho Police Department. After moving to Texas, he began with the Public Safety and Emergency Management (PSEM) Airport Police division, transitioning into the Austin Police Department. Most recently, Francisco served with the Motors North 2 unit-ROLLING 20s.
Francisco and his wife Evelyn have been together for 19 years. They have one child together, Amanda and two children, Nathalie & Tomas from a prior relationship.
Francisco was a hard-working and humble man. A loving husband, father, brother and friend. His tenacity proved to be the perfect quality to battle this terrible disease. It was never an option to stop fighting.
Francisco is proceeded in death by his mother (2017) and father (2010).
He is survived by his wife Evelyn, children: Nathalie, Tomas and Amanda, Brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M., 6100 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas 78752. Funeral Mass: Saint Patrick's Catholic Church on Monday, March 4, 2019, 11:00 A.M., 2500 Limmer Loop, Hutto, Texas 78634.
