Frank was born on December 23, 1930 to Francis Xavier Hogarty, Sr. and Anna Deats Hogarty in Princeton, New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Janice Joseph Hogarty; daughters, Laura Augsburger and her husband Blake and Melissa Daywood and her husband Jim; cherished grandchildren, Philip, Daniel and Madeline Augsburger and Bonnie and Coalter Daywood; and other family members.
Frank attended the Peddie School and Princeton University. He was honored to serve his country for 20 years as a command pilot, retiring as a Major in the United States Air Force.
In his most recent years, Frank's greatest enjoyment were his five grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Pop will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home with Father George Joseph officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels, Hospice Austin, or a charity of choice.
