

He was born in Bethany, Oklahoma on September 7, 1934 to Claude and Thelma Cox Trolinger. He attended school in Oklahoma City through his Junior year of high school and moved to Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1952. He returned to Oklahoma City after graduation to attend Western Union School to learn to be a telegrapher. In August of 1953, he joined the United States Marine Corp and served until his discharge in November of 1957. After being discharged he went to work for the Greyhound Bus Lines in Austin, Texas. He married in March of 1960 and had two children. He continued to work with Greyhound until his retirement.
He was a member of the Hyde Park Baptist Church where he was a member of the Singles Club. He enjoyed dancing, watching TV, playing Wahoo and Dominoes and traveling to Oklahoma to see his classmates.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Thelma Trolinger, two sisters, Ruth Trolinger and Jean Camp, brother Horace Clyde Trolinger and niece Julia Quinn.
He is survived by his two children, son Keith Alan Trolinger and wife Courtney and daughter Kimberly Ann Wiley; Four grandchildren, Sandi Trolinger, Matt Trolinger, Cooper Trolinger and Olivia Trolinger. He is also survived by several cousins, eight nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Cook Walden Funeral Home located at 6100 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 10:00 am at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 N IH 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
