Fred W. Baldwin Fred W. Baldwin, age 85, of Austin, Texas, died on November 15, 2007. He was born on June 26, 1922 in Cedartown, Georgia to William and Bertie Baldwin. Fred retired in 1981 with 30 years of service as an engineer for IBM. He is survived by his wife, Myrtice Baldwin of Austin; daughters, Susan Borst (Gregory) of Denver, CO; and Ann Tacheny (Scott) and grandsons, Nick and Kyle Torres, all of Minneapolis, MN. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
