Fred Greenhill, 82, died August 7 after a lengthy illness. A native of Dallas, Fred began his career in the fashion industry in that city at Sanger Brothers and Neiman-Marcus. Stanley Marcus called Fred the best fashion illustrator Neiman Marcus ever had. In 1957, he moved to New York and became one of the preeminent fashion illustrators in that city, working at Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord and Taylor.
