Fred H. Goodnight, age 81, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, June 26, 2006. He was born July 14, 1924, in Prosper, Texas, to Fredric Goodnight and Eula Blossom Wells. After proudly serving with the Merchant Marines during WWII, he married Agnes Costello of Forney, Texas, on April 12, 1947. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Agnes C. Goodnight. He is survived by 3 children; Mike Goodnight and wife Carlene, Vickie Sneed and husband John and Becki Gregg and husband Jimmy; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 28 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home.
