Gabriella G. Tidwell

Funeral services for Mrs. Gabriella G. Tidwell, age 66 of Temple, are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the chapel of Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home with Pastor George Tuthill officiating. Interment will follow at Austin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Zimmerman, Michael McKeown, James Spencer, Tyler Wagner, Darryl Tidwell and Terry Lawrence. Sam McKeown will be an honorary pallbearer. She was born Gabriella Gaetana Fumegale on August 7, 1940 in Vicenza, Italy to the late Tiziano Fumegale and Anna Scalco. After immigrating to the United States, she became a naturalized citizen in 1966 and retired from the State of Texas after 33 years of service. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Corinna and Eleonora. Survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, Kenneth Tidwell of Temple; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kristy Morrisett of Tulsa, OK; daughters and sons-in-law, Luciana and Michael McKeown of Marble Falls and Vickie and Michael Zimmerman of Waco; sister, Maria Grazia Sreenan of Pembroke Pines, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews, both in the states and in Italy. Gabriella never met a stranger. She enjoyed watching things grow and liked fishing but most of all, she had a real passion for her family and relished any opportunity to cook for a gathering.
