Garwin Steve Dobyns Garwin Steve Dobyns, age 44, of Buda, died Monday, February 7, 2005, in the hospital after a long but courageous battle with rare and debilitating disease Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva. Garwin was the only child of Eva Marie and Troy Harold Dobyns of Buda, Texas. Garwin was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and spent most of his young life in Little Rock, Arkansas and Buda, Texas. Garwin will always be remembered as a very pleasant and lovable person who loved good music and good Gospel singing. He was a member of the Promise Land Church on East 51st Street where he spent some of his most enjoyable moments. He was loved and will be missed by many cousins, aunts and uncles.
