I know this is a way late condolence, I was a next door neighbor of both Gary and Glenn in Bellaire on Glemont Drive. I was at Glenn's funeral in Bellaire Tx. And spoke with Gary. They will both be Very missed by me and my brother and mom . My Deapest Sympathy's Rick Clampitt & The Clampitt Family... we will all miss both Gary & Glenn...🇺🇲

My heart is heavy with the thought of Gary's passing. He was one of a kind and a very special person. Gary always had a story or a song, a good word, and a helping hand. He had friends worth millions and friends who did not know where they would sleep that night, he treated them all the same. A story teller extraordinare...he could make a kickball game feel like they seventh game of a world series, and a round at the pitch and putt played out like the final day of the Masters golf tourneyment. While he is gone the Coffee stories will live on forever and I will do my best to tell a few...



Cindy said it very well. I was fortunate to run into Gary recently, after all those years, and catch up on his latest works and travels. He always liked to BBQ and garden and he did great work for the Punk Rock BBQs. He was also jazzed to spread our line of cyprus vines from South to Central Austin.    I'm missing you Gary.



There was never a topic mentioned that Gary could not contribute a memory or a funny story.  He loved nothing more than kicking back and talking to anyone he met.  He did beautiful work and was very proud of it, he would walk into my house and remember how years earlier he managed to solve some construction problem.  Gary was a sweet sweet man and he will be missed.



Gary and I became very close last year as we spent days together at Ego's while I was tending the bar there. We also watched a lot of movies at my home. We shared a love for REAL people, music and we also shared the same December 14th birthday. I was very fortunate to know Gary Coffee. He treated me like a queen. I knew that Gary would not be around long but he was happy with the choices he was making. I Loved Gary very much. He will always have a special place in my heart.



I can't say that I ever grew particularly close with Gary the short time I tended bar at Ego's, but I don't remember a time that he didn't put a smile on my face; especially when I needed it.      Rest In Peace Gary Coffey. You will be missed.



Gary's smile is missed. Memories of great times with him will be forever by all.



the world is a better place for having had gary in it.  he will be missed.  i often think of all the fun we all had as neighbors, watching our kids grow up in front of our eyes. awesome bbq's, great water volleyball games and more laughter than anyone should be allowed.  i am blessed that he crossed my path and i got to spend some time with him.  all my love to the kids, you are all in my thoughts.



Gary was always around with a story or a song.  You never thought he had the music inside him till he picked up a guitar or plunked on a keyboard. Peace Gary Peace



I am deeply saddened by the loss of Gary. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Gary was such a kind, caring person, and he would do anything to help someone in need. One of my favorite memories was when he came to dinner and gave me guitar lessons. Gary will live in our memories and our hearts forever. I was blessed to have him as a friend.
