Gene was born January 29, 1927 in Independence, Missouri. His life was one of servitude to God, his country, his friends, and anyone who crossed his path. He served in the U.S. Navy and was proud to be a veteran. He worked for Southwestern Bell as a switch technician until his retirement in 1988. He was a devout Catholic, and extremely passionate about his work with the Schoenstatt Movement and the Knights of Columbus at St. Margaret Mary in Cedar Park. He felt so blessed to work with the Knights of Columbus over many years. More recently he was involved with prison ministries and impacted the lives of many men who served with him and many men whom he helped bring the word God.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marion, his parents Ralph & Irene Raulie, two brothers, Paul Raulie (Excelsior Springs, MO) and Don Raulie (Cedar Park, TX). He is survived by 6 children.
