
I am sorry to hear of the loss of Genevieve.  I went to school with her in Mason, Texas.  We also got together in our younger years when we both lived in San Antonio.  We have also talked often since my move recently to Waco.    My sympathy and love,  Clarice Hoerster



Genevieve was a great friend and I will miss her.  She and I belonged to ROWC together and played bridge on occasion. When I became a widow she was so understanding and gave me great comfort and support.With great sympathy to the family, Yours, Barbara Challis



Your bubbling laugh, your not-so-gentle pat on the arm and handgrip when we meet, your cute outfits, the martini in your hand, your tattoos, the way you always had a little sweet with your entree, your perfect companionship with my father/father-in-law, your bravery in living your life on your terms. You were loved and will be missed, Genevieve. Thank you for letting us be a part of your life.



Genevieve was so much fun to know. She  always had a smile and hug when she greeted us and she rarely missed a luncheon or spring trip with the ROWC.  I really got to know her on the trip to Houston several years ago. I will always think of her when we make margaritas as she shared her simple recipe with us.    Genevieve was a very special lady and we will all miss her!



I first met your Mother in 1981 when I joined the ROWC.  I have had the privilage of sitting with her at luncheons and playing with/against her in our bridge group.  She has always been a very Classy Lady and such a joy to know.  I will miss her a great deal.  Sincerely, Martha Jo Ruffcorn



Genevieve will truly be missed! There are so many good memories of her in our mutual association with Retired Officers Wives that will always be remembered.  She was a wonderful person.
