George Pressley Biel

Pressley was preceded in death by his parents, brother and loving wife, Ruby Shelton Biel.

He is survived by his sister, Kathy Foster, of Dallas; children, Walter Biel and wife Lynne; and Tammy Pirtle, all of Dripping Springs. Grandchildren include Ryan Biel, wife Jamie; Ross Biel, wife Sarah; Travis Coleman; Shelby Pirtle, and great- grandchildren Sloan Biel and Tanner Biel.

Pressley served in WWII in New Guinea and returned to marry the love of his life Ruby Shelton in 1945. He was self employed for many years and retired from the State in 1982. He was active in church, community, and officiated football in central Texas for many years. He enjoyed the Dripping Springs community, especially Founder’s Day. He was a loving Father and Grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, December 20th, at Sunset Canyon Baptist Church, 4000 E Hwy 290, Dripping Springs, Texas 78620.
