

George David Boutwell, Sr. David Boutwell, of Austin, born February 7, 1922, in Danville, Vermont, to Frank Lorenzo and Caroline Coe Wightman Boutwell, died on Sunday, October 12, 2003, with his family by his side. At the time of his death, David was a long-time gospel preacher with the Church of Christ and the proprietor of AAA Commercial Striping in Austin. David was preceded in death by the wife of his youth, Sadie Osgood of Maine, and the wife of his lifetime, Robbie Kent Boutwell; a grandson, Christopher; his parents; and brothers, Frank, Edwin, Newell, Elwin, and James. He is survived by sons, George David Boutwell, Jr. and wife Martha, and Rodney King; daughters, Caroline Guckian and husband Jimmy, Margaret Spinks and husband Clarke, and Robbi Boutwell; grandchildren, Valerie Boutwell, Kimberlee Mederios and husband Kevin, Benjamin Mewis and wife Suzanne, Kimberlee, Kyle, Keath, and Konrad Guckian, Heather Oglesby, Clarke Spinks, Jennifer Wohlers, Hunter, Ariel, and Skyler Price; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Braydon, and Kaylee Mederios, Roman Duran, and Gemma and Mallorie Munoz; brothers, Ray and wife Rosana, Lewis, and Haven and wife Dorothy; cousin, Marjorie Talbot; beloved family friend Carole Reese; along with numerous other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 16, 2003, at Southwest Church of Christ, Rick Brumback officiating. Interment will follow at Capital Memorial Park.
